About Frank Frontado
Frank specializes in starting young horses; giving them a great foundation and a successful environment in which to learn and grow. “Problem horses” are not seen as a problem to Frank. Instead, he sees a misguided horse that is looking for a true leader, encouragement and confidence . . .
|
History:
Frank’s passion for horses was first ignited when his mother, an avid and lifetime lover of Morgan horses, took him to some pony rides at a local park. After the first pass around the ring Frank was entranced in the magic and beauty of his hairy steed. It became apparent, several passes (and hours) later, that it was going to be very difficult to remove Frank from that pony’s saddle. Although Frank finally left the pony’s back, nearly 25 years later he has yet to leave the saddle.
When Frank was about ten years old a little Chestnut filly by the name of Crosslane After Dawn revived Frank’s passion and determination. The duo was inseparable and tough to beat. Together they took championships all over California and eventually the 1998 and 1999 Nation and World Morgan Horse show in Oklahoma where they won Reserve World Champion (’98) and World Champion (’99) in stock seat.

His Success soon caught the attention of international horseman and creator of Cowboy Dressage, Eitan Beth-Halachmy.
Frank went to work for Eitan. Under Eitan’s watchful eye, Frank soon found himself working with young Morgan stallions such as Santa Fe Renegade, BEF Ivan, as well as others. The experience that was gained led to creating a foundation and understanding in the starting and finishing of horses of all ages, temperaments and skill levels.
Frank now specializes in starting young horses; giving them a great foundation and a successful environment in which to learn and grow. “Problem horses” are not seen as a problem to Frank. Instead, he sees a misguided horse that is looking for a true leader, encouragement and confidence. |
